Chanoirs is a constellation of artists working to bring ways to truely connect.
Our identity lies in the difference. The impalpable nature of our way of living on the margins. Our interactions lead to a questioning of the value of our vitality. This is the game, the arcade of our lives. To distinguish ourselves from an overly rational system focused on exhausting performance, devoid of any collaborative and artistic meaning.
Chanoirs is a network that functions like a constellation of young creative people united around an artistic vision, a common energy. They put forward the freedom to do, the freedom of action. It is a machine whose cogs are the singularity of each entity set in motion. It is the maintenance of a passionate marginality. A collection of broken bricks united by a fast-setting granular cement.

ERROR 404 – RESET

In September 2022, the brand-new cultural concept RESET took root in the former main quarters of Dexia, right in the heart of Brussels. They obtained permission to animate this location during its intended repurposing period until 2025. To mark the opening of this space, they approached our collective to execute a month-long artistic residency on the theme of collective transformation:
« My skin flakes, from rubbing against the worlds like this. Twilight beings, disturbers of your comfort, witnesses to human madness. All that you untie on Earth, we want to untie in the sky. Transcendence is necessary, to drop the veil of illusions, all of this to realize who we are. In this era, we live to bring invisible connections to life, weaving bonds, uniting forces. Pierce reality to shape it in the image of our desires. Personal mutations, collective evolution; the point of collaboration between two energies in turmoil, writing their myths and adventures. Detachment from oneself, a carousel ride in this sad carnival. What a spectacle to see a circle of people engrossed in a game that possesses them, and that alone is the subject of all reflections in their minds and all desires of their hearts. »

This intimate space is dedicated to non-exclusive connections, facilitating the creation of exclusive content. No blind spots exist for the production of your personal tape. The 4 webcams are link to a unique screen taking place above the bed.

Chanoirs has been invited by the Massachusetts institute of Technology to help them create an immersive atmosphere in their space during the 2023’s Hackathon. They’ve been coworking with their team on site to create artworks that will bring the hackers into a space that would promote their imagination and thirst for technological innovation.
